It was a beautiful day at the Olson Mansion in Maple Valley and it was made even better with Amanda and Vincent!
Amanda and her bridesmaids were getting ready in the upper part of the Olson Mansion and it was all love. Surrounded by her closest friends and family for this special day in her life. It was extraordinary to see her ladies supporting her and having a jovial time making each other laugh in the lavish Olson Mansion bridal suite and truly just soaking in this magical experience. I truly loved photographing the preparations for the wedding especially when Amanda’s friends were styling her hair and makeup and I got to sneak away with Amanda’s stunning dress. The dress, from Something Blue Bridal Boutique, was hung up on the patio swaying in the wind in sparkling glory.
The weather was going back and forth between gloomy and sunny but eventually, the clouds dispersed, turning into a beautiful sunny wedding afternoon and evening for the bride and groom. Once I captured the dress, I went to visit Vincent and see his preparations for his big day. I found him and all his friends and family joking and soaking up the start of the day. Before the ceremony, Amanda and Vincent decided to have a first look which was stunning, their love for each other truly shines through in these photos from the last moments before the big night.
When it was time for the ceremony, I was excited to see what personal touches Amanda and Vincent decided to add to their Washington wedding day. Their ceremony was personal and demonstrated the divine commitment these two made that day. Photographing the faces of their family members and the ceremony, it’s clear to see how much love and support these two will have in their lives as their family grows and changes over the years. Following the ceremony, the reception was a lively demonstration of Amanda and Vincent’s cultures and their values with many people coming together to honor them and provide them with support to start this new chapter. Filled with dancing, beauty, and laughter the ceremony never had a dull moment with DJ Mystik Music, both Melissa and John were amazing hosts to this awesome party! Sadly, the night had to end but in tune with the rest of the day this was made as fun and memorable as possible with friends and family gathered to send off the bride and groom equipped with glow sticks, best wishes, and love.
I wish Amanda and Vincent a truly full and happy marriage; it was a privilege to capture their extraordinary day!
