Seattle Engagement Photos｜Discovery Park｜Seattle, Washington
Engagements always bring me so much joy. It’s always clear to see how happy and excited couples are to take the next step in building their lives together.
On a beautiful day in June, I met Max and Zhanna at Discovery Park to capture their new love and their first photos together as an engaged couple. I could tell even before the shoot that this couple was willing to do anything to get the shot. I love when clients are willing to take risks as I love when a new idea or a spontaneous pose results in the most unique photo of the day. Discovery Park is one of my favorite locations because of its variety of landscapes. From grassy fields to rocky beaches and I never forget about the stunning lighthouse. Here you can turn one shoot into two distinct vibes of photos.
The first scene I wanted to capture was so golden grassy photos, I had Max and Zhanna sitting in the grass as well as running through it! These two made my job so easy always laughing and enjoying the day. Getting to capture the happiness and love shared between these two made this day exceed all expectations that I had.
After getting our fill of the rolling hills we headed down to the scenic lighthouse to capture some truly Pacific Northwest-inspired photos in front of the Puget Sound. These photos turned out just how I envisioned them, golden and warm with an inexplicable depth. Max and Zhanna made this engagement shoot a dream come true, it was fantastic for me to get the chance to photograph a gorgeous couple in a breathtaking location such as Discovery Park!
